Mount Annan Project

This project in Mount Annan centred around one major challenge, transforming a dark, dated central living space into something bright, open and inviting.

Despite the home’s generous ceiling heights, the centre of the property lacked natural light and felt enclosed. The client wanted to completely change the feel of the kitchen and dining area by introducing a large custom double skylight that would brighten the space and create a stronger sense of openness.

The impact was immediate. The oversized skylight visually lifted the ceilings, flooded the area with natural light, and completely transformed the atmosphere of the home.

Due to existing electrical services and hot water infrastructure running directly through the ceiling cavity, extensive rerouting works were required before installation could begin. All planning, coordination and rerouting works were carefully managed and completed as part of the project to ensure the skylight integration was seamless both structurally and visually.

What was once dark and enclosed now feels bright, warm and architecturally striking, proving just how powerful natural light can be in reshaping a space.
